I possess extensive experience in career coaching, leadership development, and professional advancement, particularly within the financial services sector. My specialization lies in legal and compliance. I began my journey as a paralegal at a surety and construction firm in Rochester, New York, and furthered my career in Houston, focusing on intellectual property, commercial litigation, and insurance. Over the next twenty years, I steadily ascended to the position of Head of Corporate Compliance.
As an introvert, I encountered various obstacles to growth. Thanks to career coaching, I not only progressed but also began presenting on numerous topics to diverse audiences, including the Department of Labor, on Capitol Hill, and at industry conferences for insurance and financial services. Additionally, I was featured in multiple news articles, including those from Investment News, Market Watch, and the Associated Press.
Over the past decade, I have launched growth and development initiatives aimed at enhancing individual potential and leadership capabilities. I have created management training programs as well as public speaking and mentorship opportunities. I've coached leaders, managers and individual contributors across the organization. The most rewarding aspect of my career has been observing the development and success of those I've worked with.
As a certified facilitator of DISCFlex and 360-Degree assessments, as well as a Career Coach, I am excited to help others uncover their routes to success.
